1) What is an EAS?
Administrative Service Organization (EAS) is a service organization that administers employee related human resource issues, employee benefits and payroll management.
2) What is the difference between an EAS and a PEO?
Both of these employee administration models offer to administer their client's Human Resource, Worker's compensation, Employee benefits and payroll programs in very distinct ways. An EAS is a service provider. The relationship is between the client and the EAS, and all the human resource policies and employee benefits are maintained in the client's name. Payroll and payroll taxes are paid using the clients federal employment identification number (FEIN). With an EAS agreement, the client is not limited to the benefits provided by a PEO (Professional Employer Organization) and therefore can establish its own benefit plan or keep any existing plan.
3) What are the different Audax plans?
All of our plans are described above, under the AudaxEAS Programs. Each has been designed to serve businesses or organizations with different needs and requirements.
4) Why do companies choose to use an EAS?
